Season-Ending Injury for Ybarra
Monday, December 16th , 2047
Antonio Ybarra had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a torn flexor tendon in his elbow on 12/15/2047. Today he received word from the Rice University doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome.

Ybarra has taken the mound for 33 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 7-6 record with a 5.66 ERA. The Rice University reliever has limited opposing batters to a .286 batting average.
