Knerr Picked Best Player Monday, December 23rd , 2047 17-year-old Andy Knerr sent shock waves through Evolution last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Dvision 1 Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Knerr made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .417 average, 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs and 9 RBI. Where the UCLA Bruins left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Knerr certainly made his mark last week. In this current campaign Knerr is hitting at a .317 clip with 23 home runs and 68 RBIs. |
