Goldeyes Lopez Fans 15 Phantoms Tuesday, May 21st , 2047 Ricky Lopez of the Winnipeg Goldeyes put on a pitching clinic today at Winnipeg International Baseball & Gold Complex as he struck out 15 Niagara Falls Phantoms in a 5-2 victory. Lopez, who is rated as the 68th best prospect by BNN, was simply magnificent as he held the Phantoms to 3 hits. He walked 1. "I felt okay at the beginning," Lopez said, "but eventually my sinker really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Lopez's performance, Goldeyes manager James Atkinson shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." |
