Wali Mulogo Strokes 3 Home Runs

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Toros Stadium buzzing, Colorado Avalanche first baseman Wali Mulogo blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 16-1 win over the Tijuana Toros.
"Everything was clicking," Mulogo told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
Mulogo shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Avalanche manager Roberto Beltran said. "Wali played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Wali Mulogo flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Cao-Ky Trieu in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Bart Bell in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Willie Becerra in the 8th.
Mulogo on the season is batting .309 with 8 home runs. His totals include 18 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has played in 21 games.
