Mulogo Slams 3 Homers for Avalanche

Wali Mulogo was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 9-6 Colorado Avalanche triumph at Oregon Baseball Complex today.
The 20-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Avalanche past the Portland Angels.
"One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Mulogo told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
The first baseman went 3-for-4, rung up 3 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day.
Wali Mulogo hit a solo-shot off Hector Agudelo in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Hector Gonzalez in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Roney in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
So far on the season Mulogo is hitting .292 with 11 home runs, 23 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 26 hits and played in 27 games.
