Great Week for Oakland's Pete Goerge Monday, August 26th , 2047 Oakland Oaks fans are celebrating Pete Goerge's selection as Western League Player of the Week. Goerge put up some serious numbers over the past seven days as he cracked 11 hits in 32 at-bats. The 18-year-old first baseman hit .344, drove in 10 runs, scored 6 times and hit 5 home runs. This year Goerge is batting .256 with 86 hits, 20 home runs, 46 RBIs, 22 walks, .316 OBP and has scored 38 runs. |
