Wright Stops Colorado
Wednesday, September 11th , 2047
Seth Wright was sneaky fast, on the mark and hard to hit today. He led the Palm Beach Nationals to victory 5-0, blanking the Colorado Avalanche on 6 hits. He had 4 walks and 4 strikeouts.
"You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," Colorado skipper Roberto Beltran told reporters after the shutout loss. "He just had a real deceptive fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes."
This year Wright has collected no saves in no relief appearances. He has also compiled a 5-13 won-lost mark with a 4.17 ERA and fanned 145 batters in 149 innings. Opponents are hitting him at a .247 clip in 2047.
