Pili and Sanchez Fight, Get Suspended Sunday, September 15th , 2047 After an intense confrontation, both the Capitals Jwahir Pili and the Oaks Jaime Sanchez were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Victoria-Oakland game. Jwahir Pili will miss 3 games, while Jaime Sanchez was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Jwahir Pili commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Currently Pili has 12 home runs and a .253 batting average. In the current season in 19 starts, Jaime Sanchez has a record of 7-7 with 140 strikeouts in 119.2 innings and a 3.16 ERA. |
