Tatum Packs a Wallop -- Hits 3 HR Against Toros

Colorado Avalanche catcher Chris Tatum left the Tijuana pitching staff in ruins at Toros Stadium today, beating the Toros 10-2 with a prodigious three-home run performance.
"The last one was totally unexpected," Tatum told reporters at the press conference following his big game. "I just wanted to make good contact, never thinking I would get a home run, and bang, I got number three."
For the game, the Colorado catcher had 3 hits in 4 at-bats, drove in 6 and scored 3 runs.
Chris Tatum grounded out in the 1st, walked in a run in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Yok-sing Zhào in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Bart Bell in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Willie Becerra in the 9th.
Thus far in 2047 Tatum is hitting .416 with 28 home runs, 70 RBIs, 70 runs scored and has compiled a .522 OBP.
