EL Most Valuable Player Award Goes To Camp

Tyrell Camp of the Windy City ThunderBolts proved that you can step out of the shadows and onto the stage if you've got the talent and the drive to hone your skills. Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the Eastern League Most Valuable Player Award.

Camp hit for a .337 average while collecting 147 hits, 12 doubles, no triples, 63 home runs, 109 RBIs and scoring 104 times.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Chris Myers of the York Revolution finished second in voting, while Randy Grewe of the Columbus Reds finished third.
