Eric Delgado of the Colorado Avalanche had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2047.

The 22-year-old catcher put up a .349 average and a .468 on-base percentage, piling up 122 hits, 11 doubles, 4 triples, 34 home runs, 94 RBIs and 86 runs scored.

He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 30. Glenn Lowther of the Colorado Avalanche finished second in voting with 13 first place votes, while Michael Colin of the Amarillo ThunderHeads finished third with 3 first place votes.
