SL2's Top Player, Kawano of University of Conneticut Monday, October 28th , 2047 The hottest bat of the week belonged to University of Conneticut catcher Roku Kawano. He went on a rampage last week against SL2 hurlers and rapped out 9 hits in 13 at-bats for a .692 average while hitting no home runs, driving in 3 runs and scoring no runs -- numbers quite worthy of the Sub League 2 Player of the Week trophy. Kawano was honored today at a press conference. So far this season Kawano is batting .294 with 6 home runs. |
