Diaz Leads Nationals to 3-0 Win over Phillies
|
In a well-pitched game between the Washington Nationals and the Philadelphia Phillies, pitcher Danny Diaz was fantastic. The Washington right-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-0. The Phillies, 11-21, continue their poor start to the 2048 campaign.
Diaz, who was born in Bostonia, California, threw 112 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.
"I just made my pitches," said Diaz, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
