Braves Deal Nationals 4-1 Defeat
Starting pitcher Nolan Stefanski was a major factor in the 4-1 Atlanta Braves triumph over the Washington Nationals. Stefanski, now 3-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing no runs. With the win, Atlanta upped its record to 24-23.

Atlanta used the bat of Ike Trout to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Braves ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"Nolan is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Atlanta manager Andres Wray II.
