Floundering Dodgers Lose 6th Straight
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers got a superb performance from pitcher John Bialon. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Texas. The Rangers won the game, 5-1. Bialon threw 5.0 innings of 2-hit ball. Texas reliever Andrew Coker picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Joon-ho Rhee took the loss. The current losing streak for Los Angeles has reached 6 games.
Texas took a 4-1 lead on Blake Ballard's 10th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Ballard hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Los Angeles pitcher Joon-ho Rhee shaking his head.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Ballard said after the game.
