Dominant Performance by Kidd in San Francisco Win
|
New York had no answer for San Francisco Giants hurler Keith Kidd, who overwhelmed Mets hitters as the Giants coasted to victory, 7-1. The second-place Giants are 28-23.
The Mets had trouble solving Kidd, who surrendered 1 run on 3 hits over 8.2 innings.
"It's a mindset," said Kidd. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
