Nationals Lose to Phillies, 7-5
|
Philadelphia Phillies starter Scott Bernstein was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Washington Nationals, 7-5. Bernstein, now 4-4, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. The win puts Philadelphia at 21-33.
Ryan Trombley helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Phillies.
