Diamondbacks Walk It Off for 33rd Win of Season
|
Chase Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Arizona Diamondbacks defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers, 3-2, in National League action at Chase Field. Arizona pitcher Murphy Quirk had a standout performance. The Diamondbacks lead the National League West Division by 5 games.
The Diamondbacks relied on first baseman Bobby Arevalo for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 11th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.
"This wasn't a good win," said Arevalo. "It was a great win."
