Giants on to Division Series
|
The San Francisco Giants made it look easy and are heading to the Division Series.
They have ousted the Cincinnati Reds in a sweep, the final win coming by a 7-3 score, clinching the 2-0 series win.
"Everything's clicking for us right now," said Carey Horncole, who was named MVP for the series.
Horncole hit .667 with a .714 on-base percentage. He added 1 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs.
The San Francisco Giants will play against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the next round. Arizona had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The Division Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
