Brewers Fell Dodgers, 5-1
|
Los Angeles got a big-time effort from pitcher John Bialon, but it wasn't enough to keep the Milwaukee Brewers from winning the game, 5-1. Bialon threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. The Brewers now have a record of 44-46 with the win over Los Angeles.
Milwaukee used the timely hitting of Noah Stanley to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Brewers ahead, 5-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
Stanley said his team "played with focus."
