Ratcliff Now 7-3 After Subduing Red Sox
|
The Chicago White Sox earned a win at U.S. Cellular Field, stopping the Boston Red Sox, 6-0. Starting pitcher Adam Ratcliff played a big role in his team's success. With the victory, the White Sox upped their record to 55-40.
Ratcliff delivered a quality start for Chicago. The 6' 2" right-hander allowed no earned runs on 1 hit over 8 innings of work.
"I'm proud to wear a Chicago jersey," Ratcliff told the Chicago Gazette. "We played a good game and came out with the win. What more can you ask for?"
