Expos Win Thriller, 3-2
|
Montreal pitcher Brian White did his part in helping his team beat the Baltimore Orioles, 3-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the win, Montreal pushed its record to 58-44.
Montreal won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Chris Dauphin on the mound for Baltimore, first baseman Steve French hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Expos fans to their feet.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," French said.
