|
Texas picked up a win at Dodger Stadium, toppling the Los Angeles Dodgers, 2-1. Pitcher Kelly Goosecock was one of the reasons the Rangers triumphed. Texas is now 61-54, while Los Angeles is 53-62.
Goosecock earned the win to move to 10-3. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 2 hits, striking out 7 and walking 4. The right-hander allowed the Dodgers few scoring opportunities.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Goosecock said.
