Giants Collect 2-1 Win Over Diamondbacks
|
The Arizona Diamondbacks wasted an inspired, 7-inning effort from starter Tim Wybenga, falling 2-1 to the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park. San Francisco's record now stands at 76-62, placing them second in the National League West Division.
The Giants procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Luis Magdaleno. In the bottom of the 13th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
In postgame comments, Magdaleno said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
