White Sox Suffer 3-1 Setback
|
U.S. Cellular Field was the site of a tense game between the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles.
The Baltimore Orioles stymied the Chicago White Sox, 3-1, at U.S. Cellular Field. Aldo Questi had a good day at the plate. He threw 6.0 innings of 4-hit ball for Baltimore. Baltimore, with the win, sits at 49-107.
Baltimore used the clutch hitting of Vince Jackson to snag the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Orioles ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.
"I really like what we did out there today," Jackson said after the game.
