Nationals Lose By a Run at Atlanta, 6-5
The Washington Nationals got a sterling performance from center fielder Nate Dickinson, but the Atlanta Braves still prevailed, 6-5. Dickinson was 2 for 2 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Doug Seliger earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Atlanta is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 4th win in 12 games.

In the bottom of the sixth, Atlanta shortstop J.J. Powers gave his team the lead. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Otter hit his 3rd double of the year. Washington pitcher Oleg Bahanov surrendered it. With that, the Braves jumped in front, 6-5.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Powers.
