Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Dodgers
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants.
The Los Angeles Dodgers picked up a win at AT&T Park, taking down the San Francisco Giants, 5-3. Starting pitcher Michael Walsh was a big reason why. Earning his 6th save of the year was Bo Chia.
Tsutomu Irie, the 33-year old second baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Irie contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the eighth inning to put Los Angeles up, 5-3.
"This was a good win," said Walsh.
Los Angeles now has a record of 7-7.
