Guardians Lose to Twins in Walk Off
|
Minnesota designated hitter Ricardo Batista helped his team beat the Cleveland Guardians, 5-4. Batista went 3 for 4 for the Twins. The win gives Minnesota a record of 8-6.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Batista hit a slider from Dennis Beals for a run-scoring single. The Twins, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"No time for posing," said Batista. "The next game will be here before you know it."
