Giants Nip Dodgers, 5-4
|
The outcome was not decided until the very end at AT&T Park.
The San Francisco Giants weathered an outstanding game by Los Angeles third baseman Ben Mischnick to topple the Dodgers, 5-4. Mischnick went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. San Francisco is now 12-4.
San Francisco won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Bo Chia on the mound for Los Angeles, third baseman Ryan Doss hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Giants fans to their feet.
"This place was rocking at the end," Doss said.
