Henningar Delivers Walk-Off Win for Giants
The Washington Nationals got a superb performance from pitcher Danny Diaz. Still, it wasn't enough to beat San Francisco. The Giants won the game, 4-2. Diaz threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. San Francisco reliever Andrew Kindig picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. David Sly shouldered the loss. The win brings the Giants to 15-12, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

San Francisco won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and David Sly on the mound for Washington, first baseman Jack Henningar hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Giants fans to their feet.

"This place was electric at the end," Henningar said.
