Sandoval Slaps 5 Hits Saturday, May 23rd , 2048 The Portland Sea Dogs upended the Arkansas Travelers at Hadlock Field today, thanks in large part to shortstop Joe Sandoval, who had a smashing day with the bat, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His big effort helped propel the Sea Dogs to a 12-7 victory. Joe Sandoval singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 7th. This year Sandoval has hit at a .307 clip with 46 hits, 3 home runs, 21 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
