The Colorado (EL) Rockies center fielder tore up the Tennessee Smokies to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Colorado Rockies Complex today. The offensive onslaught from Gallardo powered the Rockies to a 12-6 win. "Gallardo was a tough out today," Tennessee manager Akil Baddoo said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Juan Gallardo hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
