That's what Jeremy Thomsen was doing at The Ballpark at Jackson today as he blanked the Jackson Generals in a 9-inning complete game shutout. "I went out there to try to eat up innings and help out our bullpen," the New Hampshire Fisher Cats right-hander said later. "I felt I had my good stuff, and it turned out my command was solid." Thomsen notched 6 strikeouts, surrendered 1 walk, allowed 2 hits, and kept the bullpen phone quiet all day long. For the year Thomsen has compiled a 5-10 record with a 4.08 ERA. |
