He made 56 relief appearances and had 3 saves, 89 strikeouts, 25 walks and a record of 8 wins and 2 losses. He's also now got some hardware, as the 27-year-old has been named the American League Reliever of the Year winner. "It's something I can tell my grandchildren some day, pretty special," he said. He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 30.
