Corpus Christi Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 11th , 2047 Not even the most diehard Corpus Christi Hooks fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Hooks were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. Corpus Christi last appeared in the postseason in 2038. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 30 times in their 32 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Hooks have only made the playoffs once. |
