Borden Gets 2-Game Suspension Sunday, December 6th , 2048 Bill Borden of Lancaster got more than he bargained for when he was ejected for arguing a third strike call in yesterday's game against the Inland Empire 66ers. It turns out that the ejection wasn't the end of it. Today, the league decided to suspend Borden for 2 games for his actions which included a rant filled with inappropriate language and throwing equipment on the field once he returned to the dugout. "Players need to show more restraint on the field," the league's announcement said. "Borden obviously crossed the line and we had to take the proper action against him." |
