In an unforgettable performance, the 27-year-old Zecher fanned 15 Nationals and sparked the High Desert Mavericks to a 4-3 victory over Potomac. He left Nationals hitters mumbling and muttering at the plate. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. "I don't know if there are many times that I've seen him throw better," said High Desert manager Huston Street. "His location and command were really something."
