Injury Brings Season to End for Bachman Tuesday, December 15th , 2048 Andy Bachman had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the Daytona medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The Daytona second baseman suffered a broken kneecap in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. Bachman is currently batting .267 with 1 home run, 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 8 hits in 30 at-bats. |
