Montoya Socks It to Legends, Cracks 5 Hits Thursday, May 28th , 2048 Danny Montoya did more than his part as the Greenville Drive topped the Lexington Legends today at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. The Drive first baseman pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 7-5 thumping of the Legends. Danny Montoya singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, singled in the 12th and singled in the 14th. For the year Montoya has hit .380 with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 11 runs. |
