American League's Best Batter Announced Monday, July 13th , 2048 Kuemon Shishido demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the American League Player of the Week Award. The Cedar Rapids first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .364 average (8-for-22) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. Currently Shishido is batting .274 with 61 hits and 9 home runs. He has knocked in 31 runs and scored 34 times. |
