South Bend Loses Konane for Season Saturday, August 22nd , 2048 In a news release, the South Bend Cubs announced that left fielder Puluke Konane would miss the rest of the season due to a broken bone in the elbow. Konane sustained the injury on 08/18/2048. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager. This year Konane has socked 84 hits in 376 at-bats for a .223 average with 5 home runs. He is getting on base at a .294 pace and his totals also include 39 RBIs and 50 runs scored. |
