Quad Cities Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 26th , 2048 There are many adjectives that can be used to describe the Quad Cities River Bandits this season. Few of them are positive. And as of today, the River Bandits can add another descriptor -- officially eliminated from the playoffs. The River Bandits have missed the playoffs 29 times in their 33 years as a Midwest League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 14th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2034. |
