But for now the young Lake County Captains star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the American League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .345 average with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Presently Patterson is batting .297 with 122 hits and 13 home runs.
