Season Over for Carr
Wednesday, September 9th , 2048
Scott Carr has to call it a season. The Binghamton Mets reliever learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 09/07/2048 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 12 months.

The team will likely place Carr on the injured list today.

His stats sheet for the year shows Carr has managed to hold opponents to a .152 average in 26 relief appearances, while putting up 6-0 record with 49 strikeouts and 15 walks in 28.1 innings. He has a 0.95 ERA with 12 saves.
