Hopp Smacks 5 Hits for Shorebirds Sunday, September 13th , 2048 No matter what the Quad Cities River Bandits threw him today, Josh Hopp hit it. The 22-year-old Delmarva Shorebirds left fielder racked up 5 hits in 5 at-bats today at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium and led the Shorebirds to a 14-2 victory. Josh Hopp doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and walked in the 8th. In this current campaign Hopp is hitting at a .262 clip with 10 home runs and 48 RBIs. |
