Dolfini Hits in 20 Straight Games Friday, September 18th , 2048 With 1 hit at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium today, Costantino Dolfini added another game to his hitting streak -- the Atlanta (MID) center fielder has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Braves today, as they fell, 3-2, to the South Bend Cubs. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," South Bend manager Tim Tebow said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Costantino Dolfini struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In 2048 Dolfini has hit at a .345 clip with 29 hits, 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and has scored 16 times. |
