Williams Strokes 5 Hits Friday, September 18th , 2048 Dayton Dragons left fielder Mark Williams went 5-for-7 today and paced Dayton to a 22-1 victory over the Greensboro Grasshoppers at NewBridge Bank Park. "Well, that was fun," Williams said following the game. Mark Williams singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Dan Durand in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. Williams is batting .285 this year with 17 home runs, 83 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 133 hits in 467 at-bats. |
