15-K Game for Cyclones Sprague Saturday, July 25th , 2048 Pat Sprague of the Brooklyn Cyclones put on a pitching clinic today at State Mutual Stadium as he struck out 15 Rome Braves in a 1-0 victory. Sprague was simply magnificent as he held the Braves to 2 hits. He walked 0. "I felt okay at the beginning," Sprague said, "but eventually my changeup really started working. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Sprague's performance, Cyclones manager Rainer Florez shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was good out there today. He was dominating." For the year Sprague has a 7-5 record with a 3.49 ERA in 16 starts. |
