Players Suspended in Muckdogs-Emeralds Donnybrook Tuesday, July 28th , 2048 Hiromitsu Yamada of the Batavia Muckdogs and Victor de Leon of the Eugene Emeralds will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 3 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Muckdogs-Emeralds game at Dwyer Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Yamada and de Leon will begin serving them soon. This season Yamada has 5 home runs and a .273 batting average. For the year de Leon has collected no saves in 55 relief appearances. He has also notched 96 strikeouts and 56 walks in 77 innings while registering a 6.78 ERA and a 1-1 won-lost record. |
