No Comeback This Season for Saldana Friday, August 7th , 2048 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Aberdeen's Manny Saldana to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/05/2048 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Saldana said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Saldana has been out of action since he suffered ulnar nerve entrapment. For the year Saldana has collected 1 save in 12 relief appearances. He has also notched 26 strikeouts and 4 walks in 23.1 innings while registering a 3.09 ERA and a 1-0 won-lost record. |
